Matt Baca, MA, has undergraduate degrees in Spanish and Russian and a master's degree in TESOL from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder since 2002 and combines more than 13 years of teaching and training expertise with solid instructional principles and humor to provide high-energy highly participatory training sessions.

He is the founder of a business communications and training consultancy geared to organizational development needs for businesses worldwide. Since 1997, he has provided his training expertise and facilitation skills in universities and businesses around the world, including Latin America, Europe, and Central and Far East Asia.

From 2004 until 2008 he served as the Director of Training and Development for Silicon Mountain Inc., a high tech sales company in Boulder, where he designed company-wide training programs and leadership development for directors and executives to ensure strategic growth within the company.

Matt brings his real-world business and management experiences to the graduate level classroom for a more meaningful learning experience for participants. Currently, he is a Lead Instructional Designer at TeleTech, a fortune 500 company geared to the English language development needs of call center agents globally. He is also completing MBA coursework in International Business at the University of Colorado Denver.
