David Dalke, PhD, is highly regarded as a skilled teacher and facilitator. He has more than 30 years of workshop experience and is an author, speaker, and therapist in private practice. He has worked with large and small businesses, for both the private and public sectors. Clients include: IBM; Hewlett-Packard; Denver Water Department; Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corp.; Douglas and Arapahoe Counties, Colorado; Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG); U.S. Department of Energy; U.S. Forest Service; National Park Service; Cities of Loveland and Longmont, Colorado; Nebraska National Forest; Minerals Management Service; Department of the Navy; and American Management Association.
As part of the training experience, David makes strong use of the dynamics of group interaction during his seminars, workshops, and classes to enhance the learning process. His definition of training is: "a blending of the knowledge and skills of the trainer with the assessed needs of the target group in a learning experience that creates the possibility of new perspectives and new behaviors to meet desired goals."
Dr. Dalke has co-authored The Sexes At Work: Improving Work Relationships Between Men And Women, published by Prentice-Hall; his audio-cassette tapes have been produced, and a trainer's manual published on the same subject. Additionally, David co-authored a workbook for trainers, Balancing Personal and Professional Ethics, published by HRD Press.
