Kathy Heyl, RD, MS (Community Nutrition), has been a corporate nutrition educator for more than 20 years. She received the "Educator of the Year" award for nutrition education from the Dairy Council of Colorado while teaching at the University of Colorado-Boulder, and Regis University, Denver, Colorado. Currently, she is teaching a variety of courses at Metropolitan State College of Denver. Her expertise is in taking a potentially "dry" topic such as nutrition and approaching the subject with humor and style.
