Penny McDaniel, MA, has more than fifteen years of experience working in the field of training and development, facilitation, and personal growth. Penny specializes in helping people develop their leadership skills, improve new and existing team effectiveness, and assist individuals in connecting with and achieving their personal vision and creating shared vision in their organizations. Penny believes that every individual and every organization should be challenged to reach his or her highest potential. Her commitment as a trainer and facilitator supports that process.

In addition to working with organizations in both the public and private sectors, Penny was an instructor in the Supervisory Certificate Program at Front Range Community College, Westminster, Colorado, for nine years, offering classes in leadership and team building. She is certified in the DiSC® Personal Profile System, a work and communication style instrument, and in the Dimensions of Leadership Profile.

Besides training, Penny is a skilled meeting facilitator. When working with groups as a facilitator she is committed to creating a collaborative environment which supports groups in solving problems, setting goals, building team cohesiveness, and working through conflicts and issues in a positive and productive manner. She has facilitated meetings for The Colorado Department of Health and the Environment, Denver Public Schools - Collaborative Decision Making Teams (CDM), Colorado Federation of Families, The Colorado Department of Health and Environment, The Sloans Lake/West Colfax Healthy Neighborhood Initiative, and The Colorado Association of School Based Health Clinics. Through the Neighborhood Resource Center Penny has served such organizations as: The Denver Foundation's Denver Neighborhood Partnership Program, Northglenn Build a Generation, Inter-Neighborhood Coalition (INC), The Sustainability Summit, Denver Urban Gardens, Youth as Resources, Community Policing Conference, HECHO, IMAGINE, and Douglas County Sheriffs Department, as well as many other organizations.
