Doug Paris - Zoe Training and Consulting

Doug ParisDoug Paris has always had a passion for the power of image. Even as a child growing up in Oklahoma, where he spent summers bailing hay, he gave serious thought to the ways that wardrobe influenced an individual's personal style and professional success.

After earning his bachelor's degree in Education from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, he began his career in the clothing industry when he went to work as a buyer for a Tulsa clothing company. Later, he became a wholesale representative for mills and manufacturers of high-quality apparel for gentlemen and ladies. With his formidable background in sales and marketing, he was enticed by a commercial developer into putting his marketing expertise to work in a different industry. But in time, his love of apparel drew him back into the clothing industry, and in 1997 he launched Doug Paris Wardrobe and Design.

Always striving toward greater levels of professionalism, Paris went back to college in 1990 and earned his MBA in service firm marketing from Oklahoma City University. He was the founder of Tulsa chapter of the Professional Service Marketing Association, a national organization for professional marketers. After obtaining his graduate degree, he used his background in education and his role as an adjunct professor to develop and present a for-credit curriculum on management and marketing for third-year law students.

In 1994, Paris moved to Denver, where his wardrobe consultation business has steadily grown and now includes some of Denver's top business and cultural leaders. He has appeared on 9News with both Greg Moss and Mark Koebrick, presenting men's fashion and women's couture. He has appeared in print several times, including articles in Colorado Expressions and the Denver Business Journal. He is often called upon by business leaders to make presentations on business attire for executives and sales personnel. Among his corporate speaking clients are: Jackson National Life Insurance, Registry SafeRent, Grant Thornton, Weitz Construction, and the Denver Federal Executive Board, among others.

Paris has long played a strong role in local civic and charitable organizations, and has served on the board of Denver's Cancer League. He has been actively involved in the National Sports Center for the Disabled and is a strong supporter of Advocates for Children. In Tulsa, he served on the board of the American Red Cross and the Leadership Tulsa Program.
