Richard Scudder, PhD, Associate Professor, currently teaches at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business; one of the world's highest-rated business schools. He is professor and chair of the Information Technology and Electronic Commerce department. In addition to his activities managing the department, he teaches courses including: database management, business intelligence, data warehousing, systems analysis, electronic commerce, and project management. He is also the chair of the Enterprise Project Management Institute at Daniels, as well as the Director of the Masters Program in Information Technology. During his 22 years at the college, he helped develop and teach courses in the MBA, including the MBA core. From 1996 to 1998, he served as the Chief Information Officer for the University of Denver.

Dr. Scudder has designed and presented courses on project management and electronic commerce in several countries, including China, Chile, Peru, and Mexico. He is an expert in project and systems lifecycles, process management, database and data warehouse design, and estimating/measuring information systems. He has developed highly successful workshops on project management, project leadership, electronic commerce, and IT strategy.
