Jeff Thredgold, MS, is the only economist in the world to have earned the CSP designation, awarded by the International Federation for Professional Speakers and the National Speakers Association. He has spoken more than 1,000 times during the past 20 years, traveling more than 1 million miles in the process.

Jeff is an experienced economist with 23 years with KeyCorp, one of the nation's largest financial services companies, stretching from Maine to Alaska with assets of more than $95 billion, where he served as Senior VP and Chief Economist. He currently serves as economic consultant to $50-billion Zions Bancorporation, with banks in ten states, and also serves as economic consultant to numerous clients in a variety of industries.

Jeff has appeared dozens of times on CNBC-TV, the nation's business network, as well as numerous appearances on CNN. He is quoted frequently in the nation's business press, including: The Wall Street Journal, USA TODAY, Investor's Business Daily, and Business Week. He is a monthly contributor to the national publication, Blue Chip Financial Forecasts, and in the quarterly USA TODAY economic forecast surveys.

He has served as an adjunct professor of finance at the University of Utah for 16 years, served as President of the National Association for Business Economics Utah Chapter and the NSA-Utah Chapter, and is a former member of the Economic Advisory Committee of the American Bankers Association and the Economic Policy Committee of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Jeff received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Weber State University, a master's degree in economics from the University of Utah, and he completed bank investment schools at Southern Methodist University and the University of Illinois.
