Janet Braccio, MA, provides training in communication and public relations. Her focus is on writing, public speaking, working with the media, and reaching the public through public meetings and forums.

In her current role as principal of a Colorado-based public relations and communications agency, Janet works with a wide range of clients in the high-tech, consumer, personal services, and nonprofit markets helping them with media relations, corporate communications, corporate messaging, and public outreach. Some of the clients she serves are Starsys Research Corp., Amante Coffee, AKTIV-Dry LLC, and the Rocky Mountain Revels.

Before establishing her public relations business, Janet worked as a senior account executive for a high-tech PR agency. She also worked for 13 years at Ball Aerospace, where she was responsible for media relations, public affairs, education and public outreach, technical writing, and training in writing and public speaking.

For five years, Janet worked in Washington, D.C. as a Congressional staff member for the U.S. House of Representatives and as a lobbyist for Capitol Associates, a bipartisan healthcare government relations firm, where her clients included National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and Emory University.

Janet holds a masters degree in education from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a bachelor's degree in English from Boston College. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the Boulder Rotary Club, and the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. Janet also serves on the board of the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra and sings with the a cappella choir, the Ars Nova Singers.
