CAREER BOUND starts by showing students how to zero in on suitable employers and research them, and moves on to using all of a student's networks—online and offline—and tools from LinkedIn to Twitter, Facebook and (of course) Google in his or her job-search efforts. We talk about techniques for approaching employers, two-step introductions, how online profiles can help and hurt our job-search efforts (including tips on deleting unfortunate online references), up-to-the-minute cover letter and resume preparation, resume follow-up, phone-screen best practice, and interview tips including the best-in-class post-interview Thank You letter.

In half a day, we cover the entire job-search process through offer negotiation and how to effectively (and professionally) juggle simultaneous offers.
