Newmeasures SurveysNewmeasures surveys are simple, effective survey instruments used to help organizations thrive in an environment that fosters workplace satisfaction, retention, and ultimately greater profits.

Two survey products are offered: the Employee Survey, which measures both organizational effectiveness and job satisfaction; and the Manager Survey, which applies the power of the Employee Survey instrument to give organizations a tool to evaluate the strengths of front-line managers.

From both surveys, organizations receive specific, actionable results within two weeks of survey completion. Each survey take only five minutes to complete.

Employee Surveys

The Newmeasures Employee Survey is a short satisfaction survey that calibrates the feelings and attitudes that make up the invisible, but critical, human nature of organizations. Each survey diagnosis is specific, reliable, and valid. The survey analysis offers recommendations for actions keyed directly to the health and effectiveness of your organization.

Each Newmeasures Employee Survey consists of a single page, usually containing 16 to 21 items that are carefully tested and selected because they demonstrate a high degree of statistical reliability and validity. Employees need only a few minutes to complete a survey. Surveys can be administered by pencil/paper or online.

The data is analyzed and used to create easy-to-understand graphics and a short narrative report. All this is accomplished rapidly--usually within 10 working days--after your completed surveys are received.

Each report identifies the one or two organizational behaviors with the most powerful statistical linkage to overall organizational effectiveness. This linkage is referred to as the "Solution Pathâ„¢." Reports recommend action steps that lead to organizations' improvement. The steps to improving organizational effectiveness don't have to be complicated, but they do need to be focused on the areas where they will yield the greatest benefits. Manager Surveys

Managers and frontline supervisors are critical to carrying out the missions of organizations and to employee satisfaction and development. For many years, senior managers have used 360-degree feedback from peers and higher-level managers to receive information about their performance. This process, however, has sometimes proven to be unwieldy and time consuming, not to mention expensive. Consequently, the 360-degree review frequently is limited to senior managers, leaving front-line management without behavior feedback.

To fill the feedback gap, the Newmeasures Manager Survey was developed in the same innovative spirit that characterizes the Employee Survey. Organizations identify the managerial behaviors that are basic for every manager in the organization. The list is kept short--under 15 items--and asks employees to rate their manager on these behaviors. Managers receive a confidential report that offers actionable steps to improve leadership skills within two weeks of survey completion.
