Breakthrough Strategic Planning
Strategy can be defined as “the search for and defense of a unique and valuable position in your marketplace.” (Michael Porter). Strategic planning, then, consists of two inter-related components: developing and implementing the strategy. This workshop provides latest thinking and practical tools on how to do both in today’s ever-competitive and changing environment.
When incremental improvement is sufficient, then traditional strategic planning methods continue to work. However, with the convergence of tremendous global change coupled with a heightened focus on ethical business practices, more companies are finding they need a new and more robust approach to strategic planning to achieve breakthrough results. This workshop identifies when traditional strategic planning is appropriate and when breakthrough strategic planning is necessary. Discussion will then turn to new ideas, tools, tips, templates, and techniques to take strategic planning to the next level. More organizations are finding that breakthrough strategic planning is what’s needed in today’s competitive, global, and chaotic environment.
